Polytek Platsil FS 20 /20kg

PlatSil® FS-20 (Fast-Setting) Silicone Rubber is a two-part, platinum-catalyzed, liquid silicone system that cures (RTV) to a milky white, Shore OO66/A20 rubber. This product offers a simple 1A:1B mix ratio (by weight or volume), a fast demold time of ~25 minutes, and a long pour time (~8 minutes) relative to its cure speed.

Platsil Gel

PlatSil Gels are platinum-cured silicone rubbers that have become the industry standard for making state-of-the-art theatrical prosthetic devices for film, theater and television.These silicones are used to make creatures , age makeup, injuries, animatronic characters and much more.

With the use of attachments such as Smith's Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener or Deadener LV, PlatSil Gel products provide a smooth feel that can mimic real human skin and tissue. This makes the product ideal for use in prosthetics, making masks or emulating different body parts. As an example with the Platsil system 25 Add Hardener to increase the Shore A to 40. Also Retard slows the drying of PlatSil products.

Body Double™ SILK

Body Double™ SILK is a self-releasing platinum-cure silicone rubber that can be applied directly to the skin to make molds of the face, hands and other body parts. The rubber cures quickly and will reproduce excellent detail from any original model.

Body Double™ Fast Set is skin safe and is certified by an independent laboratory. OECD TG 439 certification. No animals were used in testing.

Body Double™ SILK will release from closely cropped hair-covered skin surfaces(short beards, mustaches, eyebrows, pubic hair, etc.). Release cream or Hyperfolic are not needed when using Body Double™ SILK. Body Double™ SILK will last for many castings of almost any material including plaster, Matrix™ Neo™, wax, resins (Smooth-Cast urethanes, polyester, etc.)

Body Double™ SILK has a working time of 6 minutes and a demold time of 20 minutes*.

Smooth-Sil™ Platinum Silicones cure at room temperature with negligible shrinkage. With different hardnesses to choose from, Smooth-Sil™ products offer tremendous versatility and are suitable for making production molds of any configuration, large or small. These silicones exhibit good chemical, abrasion and heat resistance. Materials such as plasters, concrete, wax, low-melt metal alloys or resins (urethane, epoxy or polyester) can then be cast into these silicone rubbers without a release agent.

Smooth-Sil™ 936, 940 & 950 are mixed 100A:10B by weight, while new Smooth-Sil™ 945 offers the convenience of a 1A:1B by volume mix ratio and a fast 6 hour cure time.
